The 4 in 1 Treatment for Acne Sufferers

If over-the-counter methods aren't clearing up your acne, come talk to us at Envision Medical Spa for some solutions.

Most of the unfortunate folks who are seriously affected by chronic acne episodes have invariably tried a number of drug store products to rid themselves of the affliction. These over-the-counter nostrums may be well-intentioned but they rarely offer consistent relief, especially over the long term. What these types of products generally do is cover up the problem without treating it, which sometimes just makes the acne outbreak worse. When your issue is excess skin oil, the last thing you need on your face is some greasy acne product adding to your woes.

DermaFrac to the RescueDermaFrac treatment

Unlike the pharmacy products which merely try to hide the problem, DermaFrac is a four-part process that offers real hope for those with acne. Each of these four sub-procedures deals with a specific element of an acne outbreak and the combination is truly effective in reducing eruptive episodes, as well as erasing any scarring that may occur. Despite the intensity of the treatment, there is no pain or downtime, and in fact, many find it to be a soothing experience.

Here are the four sub-procedures that work together to create the exclusive DermaFrac System.

The Four Horsemen of the Acne Apocalypse

Microdermabrasion: A DermaFrac program starts with the removal of all the dead skin cells in a target area. This is done with a special scrubbing unit with the abrasiveness provided by thousands of tiny medical crystals designed specifically for this purpose. The simple removal of cast-off skin cells is where many other treatments stop, but does not solve the entire problem.

Micro-needling: Here is where the DermaFrac system differs from its competitors. This patented hand-held device uses mild vacuum suction to draw targeted skin into contact with a series of tiny needles to penetrate the most outer skin layer. The micro-needles do not go deep enough to pierce capillaries or sensitive nerve endings, so those being treated with this procedure experience neither discomfort nor blood loss. The needles do penetrate deeply enough, however, to provide an ideal conduit for healing serums to be injected directly through the outermost skin layer. This ensures the serums are taken up by the body in the most efficient manner possible. It's like a "magic bullet" which delivers relief directly to the root of the problem.

Product Infusion: This is the step in the process which follows the micro-needling procedure and involves using the newly formed entryways into the lower dermal layers to inject specific serums into the target areas. These serums can be customized to ensure the best results for each individual.

Blue Light Therapy:  As we have come to understand, acne is caused when a mixture of dead skin cells and sebum (natural skin oil) clogs hair follicles which create the bacteria that produces acne blemishes. Application of certain spectrums of blue lights combine with the cell/oil combination which creates a chemical called porphyrin which is toxic to the acne. It also stimulates the skin's natural collagen production and increases the rate of development of new skin cells.

If You Have Skin In the Game...

Although each of these elements are used by many therapists on a stand-alone basis, DermaFrac is the only system to employ all four measures to attack acne at the source. If you have grown tired of trying drug store solutions or do-it-yourself methodologies to tackle the serious medical problem of acne, consider the value of the four-pronged attack that DermaFrac provides. DermaFrac is only offered by certified health and wellness consultants such as those at Envision Medical Spa in Leduc.
